There was also no permission prompt to install the Chrome Plugin, that’s not right. And the Plugin doesn’t list in the Extension settings.

Anyways, You can disable the Plugin by typing “about:plugins” in the address bar. There, disable the “Skype Toolbar”.

2) PunyPNG – This is another service similar to SmushIt. You can upload images of almost all formats. 

3) Dynamic drive’s Image Optimizer – This is a tool which lets you reduce the size of the images drastically but here, you choose the quality. So, you can save a lot of space.

4) SiteReportCard’s Image Reducer – This is a service similar to the previous one. When you upload your images, it shows us images with different quality.

What they’ll have?

1) IP Address – They’ll have access to your IP address which mean they’ll know your location (just until ’metro level’ a.k.a your city). Plus, all these logs will be deleted within 24-48 hours.

Through your PC

1) Go to Control Panel –> Network Connections. Right click on your connection and then on Properties.

2) Choose Internet Protocol and Click on Properties.

3) Change Preferred DNS server to 8.8.8.8 and Alternate DNS server to 8.8.4.4 .

Through your Modem

These instructions may vary from Modem to Modem. I’m using Huawei SmartAX MT882.

1) Just enter 192.168.1.1 on your Address Bar (This address depends on your Modem)

2) Enter your Username and Password.

3) Click on DNS and enter the settings as below.

You can search for people if know their name (duh!), phone number (using Reverse telephone lookup), College (Alumni), their Social Security number (there’s a slight chance of you having it!)  

1) Google – Sometimes luck can turn up in your way. If a person has a website / blog about himself then you are bound to find him / her.

5) Workplace – If you know where he / she is working, you can look into their directory like the IBM Bluepages but, you need a person who works in that company.

Download uTorrent. install it.

1) Click on File –> Create New torrent. Now set the options as per the picture below.

If you want to share your file just with your family members or a friend, use this method.

1) Check out your IP address at WhatsmyIP.

2) Click on Options –> Preferences –> Connection and check out your port.

PS: You should have your port forwarded. If you haven’t yet done that, do it right away.

3) Click on File –> Create New torrent. Now set the options as per the picture below.

Add http://YOURIPADDRESS:YOURPORT/announce to the tracker list.

4) Send this file to your friends and family.

For noobs: You have to seed the torrent. Just keep your computer switched on for sometime until the others download it. Your IP address should not change!
