I got this error, it means that your iPad / iPhone isn’t playing well with your Windows PC.
Why it happens?
You, most probably, didn’t let it do its shit while it was syncing (Ah, Backing up takes forever!)
What you do now?
1) Connect your iPad / iPhone to your computer.
2) It’ll show up the error.

I had this problem
When I press the power button the first time, it does POST but does not detect my IDE hard drive. Then, it does not boot saying “no boot device” blah blah
After this, when I press reset (or quickly press the power button, twice), it detects my hard drive. So, my computer boots up my hard drive (Windows XP or whatever).

Checking the status is pretty easy. You can go to this page and enter your Application number. Its on the Application form.
If it says
Application Form Number ‘XXXXXXX’ is yet to be received/ processed.
It mostly means that your application has not yet been processed. You can check if your application has reached there, by the speed post’s tracking service (not sure about registered [...]

By default, the root password is not set. You can set it easily.
1) Go to Applications –> Accessories –> Terminal.
2) And enter
sudo passwd root
3) You’ll get a password prompt. Set the pasword..
To login as root.

I have this computer that would restart If I kick the CPU tower (or even a pat). Initially, I thought it was the lose connections in the power cord. Finally, It was the power supply seated improperly.
If you have the same problem, here are some troubleshooting steps (Check after ever step):
